Research Interests

In general, I am interested in the ways that humans impact their environments and how these impacts, in turn, affect biodiversity. In particular, I am interested in such interactions in metropolitan areas, with the goal of finding ways to maintain biodiversity in these dynamic landscapes.

Personal Interests

I love traveling, especially to places where I can spend time outdoors in nature. I've been lucky enough to have traveled to many different beautiful countries and states across the U.S. I also really enjoy reading, particularly about environmental issues. Cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends are other favorite activities of mine. Lastly, I'm a huge sports fan.
